2022 Gordon Snarr Farm flooding May 29-30, 2022

Looking from our ring dike east towards the Red River in the far tree line.

Looking north along our dike at the culvert outlet. Close to being above water again.

Recent rains have converted my garden back into a puddled mud hole but it never stops the bambi from coming to look for the garden that was not planted this year.

Looking from our ring dike east towards the Red River in the far tree line.

Looking north along our dike at the culvert outlet. Gord too the small yellow cap off last night to relieve the pressure on the big plate. However the rains still needed not just the electric pump but also a gas one to get the rain water out of the yard.

Can see how the flood wave action has deposited soil on both sides of the culvert and in fact has started to cover the bottom of the culvert. The small stream is helping keep the cullvert clear until we can remove the big plate.
