Here are a series of pics taken from the same spot on our eastern dike.
Looking north. Light brown/grey is dried cracking silt layer on top. It changes to wet silt then water as you go east.
Looking northeast. The closer clump of trees marks the eastern edge of our outer pond and the dirt piles are along the edge of the ditch we had cleaned out 2 years ago.
Looking east. The flat is still flooded.
Looking south. We also have riverlots to the north of us that look the same. Not sure of the wet bottoms will get seeded this year.
